Collias

Collias is an old village of Provence. A charming vault that invites relaxation was built on the ruins of a Gallo-Roman temple - which has a cave nearby that once served as shelter to hermits. In 1833, the superb, beautiful Louis-Phillippe bridge was erected to follow the creation of the road of Beaumont. A while upstream from the beautiful bridge of Collias lies an old mill - which once served as protection for the village but now provides running water and electricity to the village. Visit the flour mill on the Alzon - which is powered by the water from the Alzon River. The Church of St. Vincent was built over 100 years ago in memory of patron Saint Vincent, and today it holds paintings and of wooden virgin from the 17th century. Awe at Collias's caves from the paeolithic age. Collias is a small village with unforgettable sights.
