Boulogne-sur-Mer

Apart from being France's leading fishing port, Boulogne-sur-Mer is an historical center famous for the arts. The high town of Boulogne contrasts amazingly with the port and is one of the most beautiful citadels in France. Visit the Belfry, the Chateau-Museum, the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Convent of the Annonciades. The massive silhouette of the castle stands proudly over the town.
