Bezdan

Bezdan, in the former Yugoslavia, is the first town you meet after crossing the Danube River into Serbia. It is home to The National Library and Reading Room, opened in 1865. Today there is a collection of 14,294 books, in both Serbian and Hungarian,consisting mostly of fiction books.
