Ludwigsburg

Ludwigsburg is Baroque town located on the Neckar River and is known for its beautiful gardens and palaces dating back to the 1700's. Ludwig's Palace is one of the biggest Baroque palace complexes in Germany built for Duke Eberhard Ludwig of Wuritemberg. Another fabulous attraction is the Residenz Palace, often called "Swabian Versailles", which is Lugwigburg's most famous monument.

Ludwigsburg is packed with history, culture, and beauty. The Monrepos is a romantic lake palace and the Blossoming Baroque Garden is a breathtaking fairytale garden. The Bottwar Valley is also filled with beautiful woods and hillside vineyards for long walks of leisure. The Schiller Museum is also a great place to visit and take in some of the German culture.
