Erlangen

The city of Erlangen is full of art and culture and one of the best preserved baroque cities in Europe. There are many attractive shopping facilities as well as historic attractions. The Huguenot Church is the oldest building in the city. The Orangery was built in 1705 for hibernation of tropical plants. The Old Town Hall is now a city museum and archive for visitors to see. Other major attractions are The Water Tower, Kitzmann Brewery, and the Margrave Theater and Grand Ballroom.
