Tangermunde

The town of Tangermunde is located on the Elbe River about an hour outside of Berlin. The town has a medieval charm with its huge wall with fortified gates, narrow cobblestone streets and ancient churches still remaining from over 400 years ago. Although they all appear to medieval on the outside they have been kept up and renovated to look more modern on the inside.

The town also has some quaint Bed and Breakfasts as well as hotels to accommodate visitors. There are bicycle routes and walking paths along the Elbe River and a Riverboat Cafe Cruise that offers a full day of sightseeing!
