Magdeburg

The city of Madgeburg is 1200 years old and located on the banks of the river Elbe. The city is loaded with art and architecture from all time periods. The Monastery of Our Lady is made in the beautiful Romanesque style as are many of the city's churches. The Cathedral of Madgeburg is a landmark of the city and a large part of the historical city center. Madgeburg is the host of many cultural and sporting events as well.

The city is also a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature. There are more than 20 public gardens and parks to admire as well as the scenic landscaping along the river Elbe.
