Naukan

Naukan was once a charming Eskimo village on Cape Dezhneva before it was abandoned in 1958.The site is tucked between beautiful rolling hills, and is now a polar hydro-meteorological station. Visitors have the chance to explore the remnants of this civilization, visit the light house and other monuments, and enjoy the walking paths over the hills and along the ocean.
