In summer Greifswald is especially beautiful where visitors can sit with ice cream in the old marketplace, relax at the Baltic Sea beaches and take delight in cultural events such as the Classical Music Festival.  German beer lovers will enjoy visiting Zum Alten Fritz -a brewery pub at the very heart of the town center. Apart from the local beer, snacks and light meals are served. As you enter the restaurant, you basically step right into the brewery. In the cellar, you can look into the fermenting room. There are also a number art and history museums that are worth visiting.
