Chianti Vineyards

Chianti is a region in central Tuscany, Italy and the very center of it is viticulture with vineyards grown across beautiful landscapes of rolling hills. Chianti covers 2 major provinces, Siena and Florence and 7 other subregions. The traditional and internationally known Chianti Classico is the red Italian wine, a hybrid of sangiovese vine with traditional cannaiolo, malvasia and trebbiano vines. The wine is ruby red almost garnet, and the smell, sweet and violet with a hint of tannin. The grape is best picked with at least a 12 degree gradation. Precision and tradition have been taught to generations of viticulturists of Chianti, who for years, have been upholding its reputation as Italy’s famed wine country.

Grasping Tuscan culture is best done by foot, car, or bike. Locals encourage guests to experience the grandeur of wine-tasting and wine-pairing like a true wine connoisseur.
