Downpatrick

Downpatrick is located in Northern Ireland and is a town rich in history. The city is known for its ancient fort of “dun” which gave its name to the county and town of Down, as well as Down Cathedral, said to be the burial site of Saint Patrick. Down County Museum and County Down Railway, with real vintage steam trains, are not to be missed when visiting this historic Irish town.
