Huacho

Huacho city is just north of Lima, in Peru. Visitors will want to visit nearby Loma de Lachay, a National Reserve in the desert foothills of Huaral Province. Among the most notable inhabitants of the park are the Sechuan fox, Andes skunk, and over 55 bird species including the Andean Tinamou. In the reserve you can find archeological paintings (petroglyphs) and remains from the Pre-Columbian cultures.
