The Republic of Burundi is a landlocked country in the African Great Lakes region of Central Africa, with Lake Tanganyika located on the majority of Burundi’s southwest corner. Basket weaving, drumming and dance is an important part of the Burundian cultural heritage, and can be enjoyed in celebrations when visiting Burundi.
