Belmonte

Belmont is a historic small town in Portugal. The town is dominated by a 13th century castle, later the birthplace of Pedro Álvares Cabral, the navigator who discovered South America. The city is also known for it ancient alleys that make up the old Jewish quarter, which has a public Jewish Museum including a memorial of the Inquisition.
