Alken

Alken is located off La Moselle River on the western side of Germany. A trip to Alken is not complete without stopping at the historic Thurant Castle. This castle was built in the 12 century by Heinrich Pfalgraf Guelphs during the archbishops’ war; after the war the castle was split into two towers.
