Braila

The city of Braila is located in eastern Romania. It is the capital of Braila County, and an important port on the Danube River for small and medium-sized oceangoing ships. A town rich in history, visitors can tour many 19th century restored buildings in the old city center including the History Museum, the Greek Church, the Orthodox Church of Archangels Michael and Gabriel, and the Art Museum in the Palace of Culture.
