Cahuita
Located on the Carribean coast of Costa Rica, Cahuita was founded by a turtle fisherman William Smith in 1828. The little village is laid-back and vibrant submerged in Creole culture and Afro-Caribbean heritage. Visitors can hike the jungle, snorkel the warm cool waters, ride a tree-tram in the rainforest, or explore Cahuita National Park that reserves its Coralline Reefs and protects the capuchin monkeys. Its tropical weather and easy life make it an ideal destination to relax.
