Dundalk

Dundalk is the largest town in Ireland. Located in County Louth, situated where the Castletown River flows into Dundalk Bay, the town of Dundalk is close to the border of Northern Ireland and is equidistant from Belfast and Dublin. Dundalk was inhabited since at least 3500 BC, in the Neolithic period. The eroded remains of a megalithic tomb, the Proleek Dolmen, can be visited just two miles north of town.
