Itacare Itacare is a cocoa island with virgin rainforests, south Atlantic surf waves and pristine white sand. In the sixteenth century, Dutch and Portuguese pirates populated the area and began planting cocoa upon which later became massive ecotourism cocoa plantations. This town reborn now attracts adventurers, surfers and sunbathers. |
