Chianciano Terme The warm waters of Chianciano Terme are known since ancient times, but the old village became one of the most important spa towns in Italy in 1915-29, when the spa quarter was built and then constructed again in the 50's. The old village, probably founded by Etruscan people, rises on a hill and partially preserves its townwalls. In the little square there are Palazzo del Podestà , studded with 15-16C coats of arms, and Palazzo dell' Arcipretura, which houses the Museo di Arte Sacra. |
