Faro

The capital of Algarve, Faro is a city with many beaches and a rich history dating back to the 9th century. Entering the cobble-stoned paths of Cidade Velha, the Old City, visitors can admire the preserved architecture from Faro's history. The Faro Cathedral contains gilded garcings, and elaborate decorations that transport you back to centuries ago.
